We love Utah agriculture.
At Woodscape of Utah, we love agriculture! We know our business and lives depend on those who produce our food – so we set a goal to support local farmers.
Our first step was partnering with Wild Valley Farms who had a clear vision of sustainable farming and ranching. Because of this partnership, we have been able to connect with and help many local farmers. We are helping over 50 farmers and ranchers be more sustainable and profitable. Here's how.
Cutting Cost!
One way we support local farmers is by providing high quality products they need like natural fertilizers and premium, dust-free animal bedding. Woodscape of Utah provides high quality animal bedding for low cost. We also offer field spreading below the cost of commercial fertilizers and spreading.
Clean Up!
Working with Soil Conservation we identified farmers who needed help disposing of excess manure. We stepped in to help these farmers in cleaning up their manure piles and pits. We use this steer manure to make compost and other natural fertilizers. This also helps keep their rivers, streams, and ground water clean.
Financial!
We have worked hard to build quality products to bring to the market, with our successes we pay farmers for their byproducts. Most farmers were paying for manure clean up services. At Woodscape of Utah, we pay farmers to take their manure! We hope to continue to increase profitability for farmers!
Innovation!
We have been working with many different companies to develop organic fertilizers, high protein feeds for animals, and high energy biomass pellets to heat homes with less ash and smoke.
